<p>Position Requires:</p>

* Previous Hotel Sales Experience.<br />
* Cold calling, telemarketing, hotel tours.</p>
<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p>
<p>* Develops and maintains marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager<br />
* Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable<br />
* Analyzes Revenue Management strategy using such tools as Star reports, demand analysis and applicable front office systems<br />
* Schedules sales appointments<br />
* Conducts a required amount of cold calls<br />
* Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data<br />
* Completes requests of General Manager and other management personnel, as applicable<br />
* Performs functions of General Manager in General Manager’s absence<br />
* All other duties as assigned</p>

<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p>
<ul>
<li>Works closely with focus properties, Area Directors, Regional Sales Manager, General Manager, and Sales Manager to ensure follow-up sales activities are those that will general maximum amount of revenue</li>
<li>Participates in weekly sales cycles at area focus properties including telemarketing, cold calls, appointments, and site tours</li>
<li>Reviews weekly recaps with focus properties’ sales staff and coaches when necessary</li>
<li>Conducts joint sales calls with sales managers of focus properties and properties down in revenue goals</li>
<li>Ensures action items are followed up with and implements direction given by Area Director or Regional Sales Manager following focus property visits or weekly review calls</li>
<li>Directs the sales and strategy efforts by following quarterly action plans at focus properties and properties down in revenue goals</li>
<li>Assists the Area Director and Regional Sales Manager as needed with property level sales and marketing efforts</li>
<li>Prepares and sends weekly sales reports to Area Directors and Regional Sales Manager</li>
<li>Communicates weekly with Area Directors to discuss property level action items</li>
<li>Communicates weekly activities with Regional Sales Manager as a review of sales efforts</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned</li>
