STEP Program
STEP Program (Supervisory, Training, Education Program)
Objective:
The goal of STEP is to develop supervisors or lead employees into Management through precise management training and field experience. This self-paced program offers education, training and experience to individuals who have a strong desire to excel as Managers with TMI Hospitality.
Supervisory
Candidates are individuals who have proven abilities in motivating others to achieve goals. STEP candidates must have written recommendation from the General Manager and approval from their Area Director prior to beginning the STEP Program.
Training
A structured property level program which provides hands on training and experience in all departments including administrative duties.
Education
STEP provides management training to better prepare the candidate for additional career opportunities. Education will be administered by the approved property General Manager, the staff, the Area Director and STEP Program Coordinator. Completion of the program is the responsibility of the STEP candidate.
Program
Upon successful completion of STEP, the candidate will receive a written evaluation from the GM and AD. If the candidate completes all modules and exhibits the ability for advancement, they may interview for a management position at a TMI Hospitality location. Completion of STEP does not guarantee a management position with TMI Hospitality.
