(May 5, 2017) — On May 2, 2017 TMI Hospitality received three prestigious awards at the Marriott CONNECT Conference: Partnership Circle, Guest Satisfaction Excellence (Residence Inn), and Best Opening (St. Clairsville Residence Inn). TMI’s Chief Executive Officer Lauris Molbert and Chief Operating Officer Brian Hicks attended the conference and accepted the awards on TMI’s behalf.
The Partnership Circle is the highest honor Marriott presents to its franchise partners for hospitality excellence. The award recognizes companies that embody Marriott's vision, share a mutual long-term commitment, fully embrace Marriott's brand initiatives, focus on associates to create a well-managed and engaged workforce, invest in hotel product, and provide outstanding customer service as measured through Marriott's guest satisfaction surveys. Winning the Partnership Circle award is a reflection of Marriott’s appreciation that TMI embodies the spirit of Marriott International’s philosophy of “Take Care of the Associate and the Associate will take care of the Guest.” This is the second year in a row that TMI has been recognized as a Partnership Circle Award Winner.
The Guest Satisfaction Excellence award was given for exceeding Marriott’s standards in guest satisfaction at all 26 TMI Residence Inn by Marriott hotel properties. TMI’s Residence Inn portfolio led the brand in terms of guest satisfaction for the Residence Inn brand.
